Still procrastinating.

So in lieu of my procrastination I think I'll make a post about my time on the Carnival Dream. :) The vacation was amazing, it was a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise.  The ports of call included Cozumel Mexico, Belize City Belize, Roatan Honduras, and Costa Maya Mexico. The ship itself was gorgeous and GIGANTIC. Even after 7 days aboard the ship I still barely had any idea where I was going :x.  Although there were over 4,000 people onboard with us you would have never known it.  The busiest I ever saw was one day in the breakfast buffet, and it was only about a five minute wait to get anything.  Other than that it was relatively quiet and peaceful.  Some of the shows onboard were great (comedy) whereas other were just mediocre (stage shows). Either way being on the boat was a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely cruise Carnival again, hopefully sooner rather than later. :) Here are a couple of shots from the ship that I was able to take before I put my camera away for most of the week. :P

                                                           The elevator lobby/Atrium
My first Drink of the Day ;)
Another photo of the Atrium, it was huge!
The water slides on the ships water park
                                                           The Lido Deck/Main Pool
Another shot of the water park
                                                                      Whale's tail!
Towel animal- I think this was a dog or a pig?
And I'm pretty sure this was some sort of dinosaur :p

So as I said before the ports of call were Cozumel, Belize City, Roatan, and Costa Maya.  Our first stop was Cozumel, Mexico where we went to a private beach club called Nachi Cocom.  They only let 100 people in per day so if you plan on going there make your reservations early! When you get there they take your groups picture and you all have these silly hats on which they will ask you to buy later on in the day.  I do have the picture but I haven't taken the time to scan it onto my computer yet.  After this they take you in through the bar/restaurant area and then over to your own little private palapa.  The ocean here is crystal clear and absolutely beautiful.  It is an all-inclusive beach resort so as soon as you get there your waiter will come over and ask what you would like to drink. My first drink was a pina colada, of course. :) After I went and spent some time in the water and stayed there pretty much until it was time for lunch.  It is also an all-you-can-eat lunch and their nachos and guacamole were delicious. After this I spent some more time in the water and laid out on my chair in the sun taking some pictures before it was time to go back to the ship. All in all I would give Nachi Cocom 5/5 stars because the service was great, the food was great, and the water was absolutely gorgeous.

                                                    The delicious nachos and guacamole
                                                             The top of our palapa
My view from the beach chair looking up
                                                                 Just a candid shot
                                                                      Gorgeous!
Bro Rob having a good time :p
                                                             The bar/restaurant area

So this is taking way longer than I thought it would so when I have another chance I'll post about the rest of the ports and the end of the cruise. Until then, TTFN! :)
