Finally all checked in!

So, as you all probably know already, I checked into the Disney College Program yesterday.  So for it's been great, and it's only been two days!  My roommates and I all met up on Tuesday night in Downtown Disney and got to know each other a bit before check-in which was great.  Then yesterday morning we met up again at check in at 8 AM which was late considering that some people were there at 5AM!  Anyway, check-in went by relatively fast and before we knew it we were checking out our new apartment in Vista Way. :)  I'm not sure why everyone says it's the worst of the three....yeah, I get that it's older than the other complexes but from my experience so far it's pretty nice and everything seems to be intact.  I do wish we had a food pantry though, those cupboards do not like they're going to hold enough food for four people!

So after we went and checked out the apartment for a bit it was time to go to casting to find out our work location and do all of the paperwork that they had told us about at the beginning of the program.  When we walked in to casting we were in a circular room that had gold statues of Disney characters up on pillars which was really cool.  One of the reasons why I love Disney is because no matter where you go there's a theme, which makes it all that much more magical. :) Anyway, while we were waiting in that room I found out that I'm working in Animal Kingdom! :D After that we moved through the rest of casting which took a couple of hours but it didn't seem like it at all.  For the rest of the day I really only unpacked all of my stuff and relaxed in the apartment a little bit and before I knew it it was midnight and I was so ready for bed!

Today the only thing that I had to do was go to the housing meeting where they basically just tell you the rules of the apartments and tell you about the different amenities and services that there are in the complexes.  They also tell you that there are a lot of different events that happen during the course of your program.  After that the rest of the day is free to do what you want and since I can't get into the parks yet I've just been cleaning and relaxing in the apartment.  Tomorrow I have traditions at 2:00 and I'm so excited to finally get started, and it's technically considered my first day of work! Woohoo! :D  So tomorrow I'll probably have a new post about traditions, unless I'm in the parks all night (which will hopefully be the case). :p

We have a walk-in closet! :o
