Vacation Post #3- Roatan & Costa Maya

So our third port day took place in the island of Roatan, Honduras. We booked a private excursion through Bodden Tours and it was well worth it.  We went zip-lining, played with monkeys, and had a private tour of the island.  It was a great day and if I were to return to Roatan I would definitely go with Bodden Tours again, they were professional and very accommodating.

Look at me! I'm zip-lining!

I wanted to see the adorable monkey that was laying on me, hence the face.

They were so cute!

Our last port of call was Costa Maya, Mexico which was probably my favorite port.  We went to another all-inclusive beach resort called Maya Chan.  They only let 50 people in per day so it was very quiet and relaxing.  When you get  there they show you to your own palapa with a bed, chairs, and a hammock.  The best part was that all activities were included so there weren't any sales people trying to upsell everything to you!  I held a starfish for the first time and basically just relaxed all day.  My only complaint about this port was that I didn't have enough time there because the boat docked from 7 AM to 3 PM.  By the time we got to Maya Chan it was about 9:30 and we had to leave at 1:30, which didn't seem like enough time at all.  Other than that it was a fun & relaxing beach day.

You could see the boat from where we were
