I also forget how much I love Disney until I'm here. I went to Downtown Disney tonight with my Dad and I think it really sunk in that I get to go there quite often now, not just for one week then back home to the cold. So that was a pretty exciting realization. :)
Anyway, my Dad and I left yesterday morning around 7:30 to start our trip down to FL and the first 5ish hours were awful because it was snowing and the streets weren't plowed. Luckily my dad knows how to drive in inclement weather much better than I do, so that made it a lot better. :) Around 12:30 we FINALLY made it to New York and stopped for lunch at the Palisades mall, hoping that they plowed the roads while we were there. Luckily, they did and it was, for the most part, smooth sailing. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, stopping for food and gas every once in a while. Eventually we made it to our hotel in North Carolina and passed out for the night.

| This was somewhere in Connecticut, they hadn't plowed yet. :/ |
So this morning we woke up and had a quick breakfast then headed back out onto the road. It was a whopping 38 degrees when we left and there was a light rain shower. Today was also pretty uneventful, I drove for all of 3 hours and my dad pretty much drove the rest. I also want to thank him for driving pretty much the entire way down, so thanks dad! :) The drive all the way to Florida was cloudy and grey and then within 15 minutes of being in Florida it was sunny and 68 degrees, hooray! :D So we drove for another 3 hours down to the hotel and then ventured out for food and to Downtown Disney. I didn't buy anything tonight but I kept in mind wayyy too much that I have to go back and buy later on, hahaha.
